In year of the Monkey 2016, we are commissioned to design Chinese New Year Gift Pack for Layuetsai Studio.

Red and gold symbolizes prosperity, good fortune, joy and happiness in Chinese culture. Red envelope and new year scroll are the most common and important custom when celebrating Chinese New Year. This tradition is widely kept among Chinese around the world.

In this project, we tend to use traditional red and gold colors with simple form and shape to bring a modern twist into Chinese New Year celebration. The gift pack comes in a boxset with two sets of red envelopes and three new year scrolls.
